"Living Lab" shows, in real time and with access to historical data, weather and limnological information regarding the basins of Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta and Lake Mergozzo.
The buoys and weather stations provide information respectively about the temperature of water and air, the water level of the lake, the wind direction, precipitations and the values of pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, humidity and atmospheric pressure.
The Encyclopedia allows to explore the concepts presented in Living Lab to better understand their informative, touristic and recreational value.
Living Lab is part of the Pitagora project, which aims to gather and synthesise the necessary information to implement initiatives of proper management of water resources, prevention of emergencies and promotion of the area.
The project is funded under the POR FESR 2007/2013 of the Piedmont Region with the assistance of community FESR resources, the Italian State, and the Piedmont Region.
